CHANGE IN NEXT 2 YEARS
In terms of innovation and adaptation of technology, what would have happened in next 5 years is now being pushed and shall happen in next two years . The push for going digital and pandemic has forced companies to think how they can shift from offline to online mode. The work from home scenario, need to keep a distance, connecting via digital ways has not only forced companies but common man also. People who just used mobile phones to dial a phone have started using technology to order stuff . The business modules have changed. Concept of physical space for office has changed.
NEED FOR AUTOMATION AT CONSUMER LEVEL
The shift of lots of work online has generated need for automation. With sudden surge in demand of things online and numbers of customers increasing, the companies have gone for automation in customer care.
The offices have also tried to shift a lot of work associated with recruitment , HR and training online . The employees now get lot of their work done via software that are made specially for their organization or a specific kind of work . At office level – technology is helping save time, efficient use of resources and simplify work. Automation takes care of the routine work. Automation is actually the ability to use technology to perform designated tasks with minimal human effort.
DO IT YORSELF
The concept of do it yourself has come a long way . Now consumers are sorting things at their level – while they are sorting their carts , generating complaints at their level, chatting with bots and have things at their doorstep. Even in health care – many times they get some guidance related to problem by answering questionnaires and chatting. A lot has been done to smoothen the process where customer can meet his needs at his level – from preparing the cart to ordering. For companies there are ‘do yourself’ training, learn a new skill online . Even education has transformed post pandemic where technology takes care of a lot of things.
WHAT LIES AHEAD
The hybrid system of working will b a norm, the customers stepping out to purchase things will change and world will have more things to chose from. Something like heath care that could have never imagined going digital has also changed forever. The world will be driven by data and numbers and analytics. Technology, artificial intelligence, automation analytics will redefine all.
